What is soma?

Soma is the name of a plant and deity. First encountered in Iranian language, later comes to India. In ancient times, soma was used to make a ritual drink, which was offered to the gods. We can say that this drink was a kind of intermediary between celestials and people. Having consumed the drink, euphoria appeared, and the man entered a religious ecstatic state.
