Former world boxing champion Mohammed Ali today was discharged from the hospital, where the athlete lay down in connection with pneumonia and urinary tract infection.
According to spokesman Ali Bob Gunnell, the legendary boxer fully recovered and returned home to his family to celebrate his 73rd birthday with his family.
Mohammed Ali was hospitalized on December 21st. Initially, he was diagnosed only with pneumonia, but later doctors also discovered a urinary tract infection. In addition, as is well known, an elderly athlete suffers from Parkinson's disease.
