How to make pva?
Glue PVA (polyvinyl acetate) is familiar to us since childhood. It is one of the most widely used adhesives, both in industry and in everyday life. From the very name of the glue you can understand what components it consists of. It is produced by mixing a dispersion of vinyl acetate, a protective colloid and a filler (water).
In industry, the components of this mixture, which after a complex polymerization process turns into glue, are loaded into a mortar mixer. Here, all components are mixed to a uniform consistency. The density of the glue is checked with a special wooden pestle. The stores receive products packaged in plastic cans and bottles.
Many are not satisfied with factory products, and they are interested in finding out how to make PVA at home, although it is believed that household glue is just an analogue of factory glue.

How to make PVA: instructions
Now we will try to clearly describe the process of how to make PVA glue at home. First you need to soak the photographic gelatin for 24 hours. We place distilled water, flour, and swollen gelatin into the prepared container. We place the container with the components into another large pot, into which we pour water from the tap, then put it on the fire. Constantly stirring, boil the mixture in a water bath to the consistency of thick cream without lumps.
As it cools, alcohol and glycerin are added to the prepared mixture. It should be a homogeneous mass, it is an analogue of white glue.
