Iurie Leanca, former Prime Minister of Moldova, launched the political project "European People's Party of Moldova", presenting the team that joined him. The new party will be distinguished by the methods of activity on the political stage of the country, and it will become European not only in connection with the title.
Registered the European People's PartyMoldova, the initiative group, which included Oazu Nantoi, Eugen Karpov, Octavian Tsyku, Viktor Lutenko, Eugen Sturza, Victor Cyril, Valeriu Kiver, Eremey Prisyajnyuk, Ruslan Codreanu, Julian Groza, Viorel Roscovan, Veronica Cretu and a dozen other political layers of modern Moldovan society.
Reasons for creating
Institute of Public Policy in the person ofdirector Oazu Nantoi will continue to support this party, as the European prospects of Moldova under the existing government have degenerated into a farce, which is why it is impossible to reconcile with the false postulates promoted by the minority coalition.
Iurie Leanca warmly supported this position andstressed that this name will continue to be defended in every possible way, although the party does not yet have a legal right to it. The application for registration of the party's name has already been submitted to the State Agency in order to consolidate it as intellectual property of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova. Iurie Leanca is sure that the Ministry of Justice will not find the legal grounds for banning the registration of the European People's Party of Moldova.
