Pregnancy is the condition of the female body after conception, in which a human embryo develops in its reproductive organ. Some have a question about whether a man can become pregnant. Let's see how conception occurs, and thereby find out the answer.

Conception in humans, above all, occurs at the confluence of the female and male sex cells. The female egg is produced by the ovaries and matures in the fallopian tubes. Only a woman has such organs. Then, during sexual intercourse between members of different sexes, the male sex cells, the sperm, enter the woman's vagina and reach the egg cell. One of the sperm fertilizes it, an embryo appears, the fetus develops. A state of pregnancy begins, in which the uterus is covered with a special layer favorable for the development of the embryo. The fruit growing inside receives oxygen and nutrition through the umbilical cord into which everything necessary from the blood of the maternal organism enters.

The male reproductive system is devoid of organs that produce eggs and allow them to mature. Also, there is no uterus - the organ intended for carrying the fetus. Thus, a man cannot become pregnant under any circumstances.
